About

We build the systems serious operators run on.

TAURUM is a small engineering studio. We work with a limited number of operators each year — businesses that have stopped being satisfied with tools and started thinking about infrastructure.

How we work

Most studios pitch themselves on output velocity — how fast they can ship a deliverable. We pitch ourselves on the opposite: how long the thing we ship keeps earning. The teams we work best with care about the second number.

Every engagement starts the same way. We spend two weeks understanding the operational reality, not the org chart. We write down what we'd build, what we wouldn't, and what we'd kill. If the work doesn't make sense, we say so. If it does, you get a fixed scope, a fixed price, and a timeline you can plan around.

We don't do hourly retainers, status meetings about status meetings, or decks pretending to be deliverables. We write code, ship systems, and measure outcomes.

Operating principles

Four things we don't bend on.

01

Own the system.

Everything ships into accounts you control. No proprietary lock-in, no surprise SaaS bills, no platforms you can't leave.

02

Small surface, deep work.

We take on a limited number of engagements at a time. The work gets the attention it needs to compound — not the attention it needs to ship a status update.

03

Measurable or it didn't happen.

Every engagement has outcomes you can point at. Throughput, latency, conversion, hours reclaimed. If we can't measure it, we won't claim it.

04

Engineered, not assembled.

We write code we'd be comfortable maintaining for the next five years. No no-code duct tape that breaks the moment your business changes shape.

One conversation, no deck, no commitment. We'll give you a candid read on whether the highest-leverage move is something we should build together — or something you should do internally.
